This solar garden is centred around an innovative sunken spa pool within an oval of hardwood.
Natural stone seats emerge from granite-finished pavers, bordered by slate-coloured cobbles. Solar panels on the roof of the sunroom provide hot water for a shower when using the spa pool. A wall surrounds the back of the garden, with recessed pockets for lighting. The planting beds enhance the oval design, with plants tolerant of dry conditions, including a mature olive and yucca.
This is a garden that thrives in the sun, and harnesses its energy. |
